Father’s of the fallen is a place for the fathers of the fallen heroes of our great country talk about their child, share memories and get and give support to each other. My son Luke was killed March 2, 2007. Without the help of three other gold star fathers, Larry Large, Jim Walsh and Dan Deyarmin I don’t know if I would be here talking to you today. Women have a different set of emotions to fall back on than we do. Many of us feel alone and without the ability to talk to an understanding friend, we suffer in silence. Family and clergy can only do so much. There is a need for us to be able to say “you know”? And have someone know exactly how you feel. Because only those of us that have gone through this loss truly know! With this site I hope we can come together and talk about our sons and daughters. Share the pride we have in them and what they did. Also talk to each other and help each other get through the bad days. Remember you are never alone. We are always here for each other. This fraternity none of us wanted to be in, but which we are.
